The romantic hotel Batzenhaus is located in Bad-Soden, where the German composer Mendelssohn once lived. Bad Soden is an approved spa town in the middle of a beautiful scenery. Frankfurt airport and Frankfurt fair are within 20 minutes distance by car, and there is public transport (S-Bahn 3) as well.180 years ago the Batzenhaus was built for the Batz family. It is well-known for its fine interior. In 1981 the Batzenhaus was completely rebuilt in its present style of a half-timbered house. Many years have passed but the name still remains.
In July 2009 the hotel was taken over by Mr Hong who gained experience in the tourism industry by his company Siu Tours. Mister Hong and the Batzenhaus team are always taking care of good a tmosphere and an excellent service, so that you may feel comfortable at our hotel.

Letter from Otto von Bismarck
Fritz Batz, the founder of the Batzenhaus, was friends with Otto von Bismarck. On Bismarck’s 70th Birthday he gave him home-pressed cider as a present. Bismarck wrote him a grateful letter which is still be seen in our restaurant.HotelGallery

Frankfurt international airport to our hotelAt the Frankfurt intersection from the A5 take the A648 in direction Mainz/Wiesbaden. Continue on the A66 until the exit Main-Taunus-Zentrum. Continue on B 8 until Bad Soden / Sulzbach exit. Keep straight ahead in Königsteiner Straße and go through the city centre. After 1km the Batzenhaus Hotel is located on the left side. By train
Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to our hotelFrom Frankfurt Central Railway Station take the S3 urban train to the Bad Soden station. From there take the Bus 253 direction Königstein Stadtmitte, get off at the station Drei-Linden-Straße (3 stops away from the Bad Soden station). The Batzenhaus Hotel is located directly opposite.
